Miscellaneous Tips:

• If you need to store a bulb for the winter (dahlia, calla, etc.) use dry peat moss
• You don’t have to have a pond to enjoy water plants.  Get a big pot or whiskey barrel with a plastic liner, fill with plants and even a spitter fountain.  Enjoy! J

• Gazing globes first became a fad in England.  They have no particular purpose.  They are just a pretty garden accent.
• If your shade baskets aren’t blooming as heavy as you’d like, set them out in some morning sun once in a while.
• We carry fountain and bird bath protector which will help keep them from turning green.
• If your garden statue gets nicked or peels, use a stain or waterproof marker to color in the nick.
• Put stones in the bottom of your pots to keep them from blowing over.
• We have window boxes that will fit over a deck rail.
