Perennial Tips:

  • Perennials are plants that come back.  Annuals live for one season..
  • Do not cut down your perennial grass in the fall.   Their foliage give winter interest to your garden.
  • We carry a lot of perennials that will bloom most or all of the summer.
  • Do not judge the worth of a perennial by the size of its pot.  Some take 2 years to mature.
  • Perennials require mulching in the winter to keep frozen, not to keep warm.  A blanket of snow all winter is a great insulator for your perennials.
  • Most perennials will rebloom if you trim them after they’ve bloomed.
