Soil & Mulch Tips:

• Never use the same soil in your pot from last year.  It has no nutrients and could have bugs and algae – not healthy for your new plants.
• Never buy cheap heavy soil.  It is 60% water, heavy and mucky.

• We sell a soil that will actually increase the yield off your vegetable plants and increase the blooms on any flowering plant.  It is our vegetable mix.
• If your soil hardens or cracks in the summer, you have clay soil and can amend it yearly with peat moss or soil conditioner (which is cheaper).
