About Us

The Theut family has a long history in the flower business.  Bob Theut has been selling flowers in the wholesale market for 30 years.  Lynda Theut sold retail flowers for 15 years at Theut’s Flower Barn in Richmond.  Theut's Flower Barn Retail closed it's doors for the last time in 2007.  The Theut's have concentrated all their efforts on their new retail store, Gardens & Beyond, in St. Clair.  Gardens & Beyond (formerly Haskill's) opened in 2005.  Bob & Lynda's children are also busy writing their own history in the flower business.  Amy, Bob Jr., Sarah, James, Shelley and Natalie contribute to the family atmosphere on the farm, working both in the office and out in the field.

Gardens & Beyond is a full service garden center that has a large selection of annuals, perennials, roses, trees, shrubs, hanging baskets, herbs, house plants, veggie plants and more.  We pride ourselves on the quality of our plants and our outstanding customer service that brings first-time customers back to the store season after season.

Customers flock to Gardens & Beyond to see the latest unique flower selections, interesting plant displays and creative planting themes.  Many customers come from as far away as Lansing, Port Austin, and even Ann Arbor to see what’s new and to hunt for that one-of-a-kind find.
